<p>A method and device for protecting media gateway telephone service are disclosed in the present invention. The method includes the following steps: acquiring a second VOIP resource circuit in the normal work state, and disconnecting a first calling line established by a first VOIP resource circuit in call state with a user (S101), establishing a second calling line between the second VOIP resource circuit and the user, so as to resuming the call of the first calling line on the second calling line (S102). In the present invention, by switching the call established on a failure VOIP resource circuit to a normal VOIP resource circuit, the call termination caused by the failure occurred on the VOIP resource circuit is effectively avoided, thus the normal call service of call users is protected and the call reliability is improved.</p> |
