PURPOSE: A driving device and a display device thereof are provided to put a data driving circuit and a signal controller into one driving chip, thereby realizing a self-recovery function. CONSTITUTION: A data driving unit(500) generates and provides a data voltage to a pixel. The data driving unit receives a digital image signal(DAT) for a pixel(PX) of one line. An error checking unit periodically checks a register value. A signal controller(600) and the data driving unit are formed in one driving chip. The signal controller controls the data driving unit based on the register value read by an external memory.
