<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an elastic roller for electrophotography that has high shape accuracy, by preventing materials from adhering to a workpiece holding shaft for holding a shaft core and the shaft core itself, in such a manner that prevents the materials from leaking out of an annular coating head, even in a forming standby mode. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a plurality of elastic rollers for electrophotography each having an elastic layer at an outer circumference of the shaft core is configured to arrange the shaft core coaxially with the annual coating head having an annual slit in an inner circumference of a center hole, and to relatively move the shaft core and the annular slit, while delivering uncured rubber mixture from the annular slit. The method includes a process of relatively moving a disk, which has an outer diameter larger than the center hole diameter of the annual coating head and is formed of elastic materials insertably to the center hole of the annular coating head, and the annular coating head, thereby scraping the uncured rubber mixture in the vicinity of the annular slit using the disk. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
