<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator of a rotating electrical machine, which is capable of reducing a stator size by forming a joint of crossover wires for connecting terminals of phase windings into such a shape that the joint does not protrude to the outer periphery or the inner periphery. <P>SOLUTION: A stator 50 of the rotating electrical machine includes an annular stator core 30 which has a plurality of slots 31 in a circumferential direction, and a stator winding 40 consisting of a plurality windings wound around the stator core 30. The stator winding 40 has a plurality of phase windings formed by connecting a plurality of conductive wires. A joint 51 of the crossover wires for connecting the terminals of the phase windings is provided on a coil end of the stator winding 40 protruding from an axial end face of the stator core 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
