<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piping connection structure of a heat exchanger which can prevent the damage of a heat transfer pipe of the heat exchanger caused by a stress concentration in the case that a difference in outer diameters between the heat transfer pipe and capillary piping is 2 mm or smaller. <P>SOLUTION: The structure connects the capillary piping (1) to the heat transfer pipe (2) of the heat exchanger (H) of an air conditioner. A difference between the outer diameter of the heat transfer pipe (2) and the outer diameter of the capillary piping (1) is ≤2.0 mm, and a reduced diameter part (2a) of a diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the heat transfer pipe (2) is formed at the end of the heat transfer pipe (2). The end of the capillary piping (1) is inserted into the reduced diameter part (2a) and fixed to the reduced diameter part (2a) by brazing. When a distance from the pipe plate (3) of the heat exchanger (H) to the boundary of the heat transfer pipe (2) and the reduced diameter part (H) is defined as L, a projection length from the boundary to the inside of the heat transfer pipe (2) of the capillary piping distal end (1a) inserted into the reduced diameter part (H) is 0.5 to 3.0 L. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
