<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of constructing and managing a protection material for silicate-based surface impregnation concrete that makes it possible to examine the permeation depth of the protection material for silicate-based surface impregnation concrete into the concrete skelton. <P>SOLUTION: A protection material for silicate-based surface impregnation concrete is infiltrated in a neutralized concrete skelton, after which the infiltrated portion is bored to a predetermined depth to collect a powder matter. The collected powder matter is dissolved in water, and pH measurement is performed through acid-base indicator, pH test paper or electronic pH measuring instrument so as to inspect and examine whether the surface layer part of the concrete is alkaline.
