<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a key able to identify a data provider by use of an existing key, and distribute encrypted data using the key. <P>SOLUTION: An on-vehicle device 100 has an on-vehicle device individual key specific to the on-vehicle device and an on-vehicle device identifier, transmits the on-vehicle device identifier to a roadside machine 200, and requests content data. The roadside machine transmits encryption target data in which the content data is concealed, the on-vehicle device identifier, and a company identifier of a content data distribution company to a center device 300 . The center device generates an on-vehicle device individual key from a master key and the on-vehicle device identifier, and also generates a company individual key from the on-vehicle device individual key and the company identifier. Further, the center device encrypts the encryption target data using the company individual key, and transmits the encrypted data to the roadside machine. The roadside machine transmits the encrypted data, protection data for releasing concealment, and the company identifier to the on-vehicle device. The on-vehicle device generates a company individual key from the company identifier and the on-vehicle device individual key, and obtains the content data from the company individual key and the protection data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
