<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a notification device of which the reliability is improved by reducing erroneous determination of an authorized person as a suspicious person, when the existence of a suspicious person and occurrence of an emergency state are automatically detected and notified. <P>SOLUTION: The notification device detects the existence of a suspicious person in a monitoring zone and notifies it to a remote monitoring center. This device includes: a monitoring information acquisition part which acquires monitoring information on a moving object in the monitoring zone; an entrance detection part which detect visitors to the monitoring zone; a suspicious person detecting part which executes the suspicious person detection processing to detect the suspicious person existing in the monitoring zone; and a notification part which notifies detection of the suspicious person upon detection.
