<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin excellent in transparency, heat resistance and further moldability. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided an imide resin which is obtained by adding an imidizing agent to poly(meth)acrylic acid ester in an extruder to react and then reacting by adding an esterifying agent before removal of volatile portions, and which has ≤0.05 of the acid value expressed by the mm equivalent/g of imide resin for the amount of acids and acid anhydrides on the imide resin. There is also provided a molded body having reduced viscosity derived from the amount of the acid component, improved in peelability from a metallic roll and also improved in defect such as foaming being generated when molded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
