<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aquaculture method and facilities of bivalves for efficiently cultivating bivalves, such as little clams, by breeding phytoplankton which serves as baits of the littleneck clams using the aquaculture facilities of prawns. <P>SOLUTION: Culture is carried out by seeding young shells of bivalves in a culture pond 1, breeding plankton which serves as bait of the bivalves using a culture pond of prawns as a breeding pond 2, and supplying the plankton cultivated in the breeding pond 2 one by one to the culture pond 1 of the bivalves. The facility includes: the culture pond 1 which cultivates the bivalves; the breeding pond 2 which breeds plankton used as the bait of the bivalves; a water supply 3 to supply seawater containing plankton bred in the breeding pond to the culture pond. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
