<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information communication system that is capable of the distribution of individual contents with easy processing while maintaining a predetermined configuration as a compound content. <P>SOLUTION: A distribution system S is configured with an input server SV and a plurality of nodes Nn, and includes an overlay network 9 that is connected to each node Nn storing dispersed contents of a distribution target through a network 8. The input server SV obtains a compound content and provides a content ID to each content. Then, position information that shows a position of each content in the compound content and a content ID of a content at the position that is shown by each position information generate a corresponding index file.
