<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat cable manufacturing method capable of finely adjusting a pitch interval of a conductor coated by a pair of insulator films, and its manufacturing device. <P>SOLUTION: When a flat cable 1 is manufactured by heating and depositing insulator films 3, 3, between which a plurality of rectangular conductors 2 are sandwiched, by a pair of heat rolls 4, 4, an image of the deposited flat cable 1 is taken by an imaging camera 8a. Based on the image information, it is judged that a pitch interval P<SB POS="POST">3</SB>of the rectangular conductor 2 by a pitch interval judging device 8c is within a tolerance or not. Feedback of the judgment result is provided to a temperature control action for controlling a heat temperature of a heater 7c of a conductor guide plate 7, and the conductor guide plate 7 is heated by the heater 7c and expanded in a width direction. Corresponding to the expansion variation, the pitch interval P<SB POS="POST">3</SB>of the rectangular conductor 2 inserted in a groove part 7a is enlarged or reduced, and therefore, the pitch interval P<SB POS="POST">3</SB>of the rectangular conductor 2 coated by the insulator films 3, 3 can be finely adjusted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
