PURPOSE: A resin expansion apparatus is provided to variously control the width of a sheet by pulling the edges of the sheet using a pair of pulling units. CONSTITUTION: A resin expansion apparatus(1) comprises a pair of pulling units(20a,20b), width regulating units(30a,30b), and a drive unit. The pulling units are arranged on the front of a rolling device(2) and face each other. The pulling units pull the edges of a sheet discharged from the rolling device. The width regulating units are connected to the pulling units and control a gap between the pulling units. The drive unit powers the pulling units. When the pulling units are moved in a longitudinal direction, the width of the sheet is extended.
