<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus suitable to be applied to transaction such as dealing with patent in which determining whether to offer or bid is difficult, and participants of the transaction don't want to disclose their transaction conditions because of fearing a case in which the transaction conditions is used disadvantageously to them, so that to realize a merit of auction while keeping confidentiality. <P>SOLUTION: Information about patent, which is a transaction object, is stored with its valuation information in a patent DB50. A buy side enters information on a type of disposal such as transfer or license and a bid as purchase conditions. Then, a sell side enters selling conditions similarly. A determination part 24 compares conditions of the both side, and determines whether the transaction is established or not.
