<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaning apparatus enhancing catalyst purifying efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The air cleaning apparatus includes a catalyst 4 made of metal to purify chemical substance in the atmosphere; a battery 8 energizing the catalyst 4; and an ammeter 15 measuring the electric resistance of the catalyst 4. When the temperature of the catalyst 4 estimated based on the electric resistance measured by the ammeter 15 is lower than the activation temperature of the catalyst 4, the battery 8 energizes to raise the temperature of the catalyst 4 to the activation temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
