<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system capable of increasing a reliability by determining validity of transmission data without shortening of data length that can be sent at one time even when the max length of a packet is predetermined. <P>SOLUTION: An engine control device 102 creates a first packet 115 by first packet creation means 113, and a second packet 116 that includes data to determine validity of the first packet 115 by second packet creation means 114. The created first packet 115 is sent to a first transmission path 100 and the second packet 116 is sent to a second transmission path 101, respectively.
