<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient upright vacuum cleaner improved in the usability. <P>SOLUTION: The upright vacuum cleaner includes: a suction nozzle 27 having a suction opening 30 on the bottom; a cleaner body 10 which includes a dust collection part 13 and an electric blower 11 and which is disposed above the suction nozzle 27; a telescopic extension pipe 18 whose one end can be attached to/detached from the cleaner body 10; a hose 16 which communicates with the other end of the extension pipe 18 and the dust collection part 13; and a handle 17 disposed at the other end of the extension pipe 18 for carrying and operating the cleaner body 10. As the handle 17 for operation also serves for carrying the cleaner body 10, a user does not have to change the handle 17 according to the purpose of use in the cleaning holding the handle 17, so that the usability is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
