<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable air compressor preventing damage of components. <P>SOLUTION: The air compressor includes: a piston pin 524 connected to a crankshaft driven by a motor via a connecting rod; and a piston 523 having a through hole 523a formed thereon, to which the piston pin 524 is inserted and slid within a cylinder by the rotation of the crankshaft. The through hole 523a is penetrated in a direction approximately orthogonal to the sliding direction of the piston 523, and comprises a circular part 523b and two notches 523c, 523d passing through a central axis O and formed approximately symmetrically around a straight line Y parallel with the sliding direction of the piston 523, when viewed from the penetration direction (central axis O direction). Since the two notches 523c, 523d are formed, pressure of both ends in a contact region coming into contact with the piston pin 524 in a compression process out of the circular part 523b is increased, so as to reduce relative slippage between the piston 523 and the piston pin 524. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
