<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact upright vacuum cleaner excellent in the stability when a connection pipe is used. <P>SOLUTION: The upright vacuum cleaner includes: a floor suction brash 19 disposed below a cleaner body 10 with a built-in dust collection part 13; the connection pipe 21 whose one end communicates with the floor suction nozzle 19; a hose 22 whose one end is connected to the other end of the connection pipe 21; and a connection part 23 to which the other end of the hose 22 is connected and which communicates with a dust collection part 13. The connection part 23 is disposed in a rear lower part of the cleaner body 10, so that the distance from the floor surface to the connection part 23 of the hose 22 is short and the structure is inexpensive. When a user uses the connection pipe 21, the upright state of the cleaner body 10 is stable and the cleaner body is hardly overturned, so that the usability of the vacuum cleaner is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
