The shaft (1) has a radial deformable collet (4) holding a limb stump, and a clamping device adjusting a receiving space of the collet to the limb stump. An adjusting device i.e. spindle-type ratchet, adjusts effective collet length. A support frame (2) supports the collet, where the collet and the support frame are manufactured as a single piece by a rapid-prototyping method. The collet comprises two segments that overlap with each other in sections. The support frame comprises a base part (32), and a plate (48) is guided into the base part.
