The bearing has a coil (2) connected with a power supply unit, and permanent magnets (4) arranged next to each other in a bearing area at a circumference of a shaft (6). The coil fixedly surrounds the permanent magnets at a preset air gap, where the coil and the permanent magnets are surrounded by ferromagnetic yokes (1). The permanent magnets are radially magnetized as ring magnets and arranged with alternating polarities. The yoke is made of silicon-iron-cobalt, silicon-iron and silicon-iron-phosphorous compounds.
