<p>The present invention discloses a cellular communication system, a method for a terminal switching among cells, and a macro base station. The cellular communication system comprises the macro base station and at least one micro base station in the coverage of the macro base station. The macro base station is used for establishing control channels for terminals of the micro base station, performing access management operation on the micro base station in the coverage, receiving a switching request of the terminal, and switching the terminal to another micro base station in the coverage. The micro base station is used for establishing a data channel for the accessed terminal, and performing data transmission with the terminal. With the present invention, a control plane and a data plane of a user under a micro cellular can be separated, so that the resource of the micro base station can be used for data communication preferably. Thus, under the networking mode of the coexistence of the macro cellular and the micro cellular, the negative effects to the system can be reduced.</p> |
