The harvester includes shredding drum with shredding knives and a sharpening device with a sharpener for sharpening knives. Sharpening process is activated when the farm machinery is in the idle mode of operation in the process of harvesting. Idle modes of operation are u-turns on the edge of the field or movement on the headland. The harvester includes an actuating unit of the sharpening device drive, made with the ability to control the drive of the sharpening device according to the signal of working regime or idle mode of operation. ^ EFFECT: invention allows to sharpen knives without interruption of the operational process of the field chopper. ^ 10 cl, 2 dwg |
