<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition for treating disorders of the central nervous system associated with 5-HT<SB POS="POST">1A</SB>receptor subtype, especially treatment-resistant schizophrenia, treatment-resistant schizophrenia accompanying cognitive impairment, inveterate schizophrenia, inveterate schizophrenia accompanying cognitive impairment, chronic schizophrenia, or chronic schizophrenia accompanying cognitive impairment. <P>SOLUTION: The pharmaceutical composition for treating a disorder of the central nervous system associated with 5-HT<SB POS="POST">1A</SB>receptor subtype comprises a carbostyril compound represented by formula (1) and a pharmaceutically effective amount of pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
