摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a negative electrode plate for a lithium ion secondary battery excellent in discharge rate characteristics, the lithium ion secondary battery, a battery pack, and a method of manufacturing the lithium ion secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: In this negative electrode plate for the lithium ion secondary battery, a negative electrode active material layer is provided on a collector. The negative electrode active material layer contains negative electrode active material particles composed of at least a carbon material or lithium-contained metal oxide, and metal element containing particles composed of any one of an alkali metal, an alkaline-earth metal, and a transition metal belonging to the fourth period of the periodic table, a metal oxide of these metals, or a compound of these metals and a non-metal element. The negative electrode active material particles are combined with each other by the metal element containing particles, and the negative electrode active material particles are secured onto the collector by the metal element containing particles, any one of a coat-like alkali metal, the alkaline-earth metal, and the transition metal belonging to the fourth period of the periodic table, the metal oxide of these metals, or the compound of these metals and the non-metal element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
