<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a sufficient exchanged heat amount with a heat source by increasing gas flow rate passing through a regenerator when a low-temperature difference heat source is used. <P>SOLUTION: With respect to a heat exchange unit 9 having the regenerator 11, a heat sink 13, and a radiator 15, a first displacer 19 is stored in a high-temperature space 17, a second displacer 27 is stored in a low-temperature space 20, and the respective displacers 19, 27 are connected by a connection rod 31. A power piston 21 is further stored in the low-temperature space 20, and the second displacer 27 is stored in a cylinder part 21a of the power piston 21. The first/second displacers 19, 27 move at a phase difference of 180 degrees to each other. These first/second displacers 19, 27 and the power piston 21 move at a phase difference smaller than 180 degrees, for example, at a phase difference of 90 degrees. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
