<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor unit capable of obtaining the installing feeling of a sensor cap with an inexpensive and simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The gas sensor unit 200 comprises a gas sensor 21 having a gas detecting element 22, a sensor terminal 24 connecting with an inside electrode 29 of the gas detecting element and projecting out from a rear end side of the gas detecting element, and a cylindrical surrounding body 23 surrounding the periphery of a rear end portion of the sensor terminal; and a sensor cap 50 having a cap terminal 151 connecting with the sensor terminal, a cap body 170 formed with an insertion hole surrounding a rear end portion 23s of the surrounding body and surrounding the periphery of the cap terminal, and a lead wire 153 connected to the cap terminal. A recessed portion or a projecting portion 23g continuing in a circumferential direction is on one of the surface of the rear end portion of the surrounding body and the surface 174r of the insertion hole of the cap body, and an engaging portion 174e engaging with the recessed portion or the projecting portion, and allowing the sensor cap to freely rotate in the circumferential direction to the gas sensor is formed on the other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
