<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control circuit capable of preventing the erroneous operation of a high-side transistor while suppressing power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The control circuit 12 controls the high-side transistor M1. A negative voltage circuit 20 can switch an operation state and a stop state. The negative voltage circuit 20 generates a low level driving voltage V4 lower than a low potential side terminal (source) of the high-side transistor M1 in the operation state, and a consumed current is decreased in the stop state. A high-side driving circuit 14 receives a control signal G1 for controlling turning on/off of the high-side transistor M1, and applies a driving voltage V<SB POS="POST">G1</SB>according to the low level driving voltage V4 to a control terminal (gate) of the high-side transistor M1 when the control signal G1 instructs to turn off the high-side transistor M1.
