PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display material enclosing panel manufacturing method with high yield and excellent mass productivity, which reliably and substantially uniformly encloses a display material in a simple manufacturing process.

SOLUTION: The display material enclosing panel manufacturing method includes a partition wall formation process for arranging election multiple lines of partition walls 3 on a first substrate 2; a second substrate placement process for placing a second substrate 4 on the multiple lines of partition walls so as to form multiple lines of space parts 5 surrounded by the first substrate, the two lines of adjacent partition walls, and the second substrate; an inclusion member implantation process for implanting the display material and a rib formation material to the space parts 5; and a rib formation material hardening process for hardening the rib formation material and dividing the space parts 5 into multiple cells 5a.
