<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a manufacturing process from getting complicated and to reduce a cost by molding a slot core and a sheath in a single process. <P>SOLUTION: A slot core and a sheath of an optical fiber cable 10 are formed by an integral structure molded similarly. A part of the circumferential direction of the sheath is separated by the opening 19 and has a C-shaped cross section. The slot core is stored in the sheath and a separation space 18 is secured between an inner peripheral surface 14c of the sheath and an outer peripheral surface 11a of the slot core. Two thin coupling parts 20, which are spaced from each other in the circumferential direction, couple the sheath with the slot core and are separated when the sheath is torn away, are provided at an opposite side of the opening of the inner peripheral surface of the sheath.
