<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid inflator which can be constituted to be high output and compact and can suppress flow-out of residue. <P>SOLUTION: In the inflator 1, an intermediate chamber 37 is arranged in series between a gas generation chamber 26 generating a combustion gas FG and a discharge chamber 45 having a gas discharge port 47. The intermediate chamber 37 is communicated to the gas generation chamber 26 via a jet port 34 blocked by a first rupture disk 35, and is communicated to the discharge chamber 45 via an outlet 42 blocked by a second rapture disk 43. A gas filling chamber 22 communicated to the intermediate chamber via a communication port 40 and filled with pressure gas PG is disposed at a periphery of the intermediate chamber 37. In the intermediate chamber 37, a circulating path FR making the pressure gas PG flow to the discharge chamber 45 via the outlet 42 is secured, the combustion gas FG can be guided to the side of a communication port 40 and a gas flow regulating portion 38 is disposed to cover the jet port 34. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
