PIPE INNER SURFACE COATING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and easily provide a smooth coated surface even in a small bore pipe by carrying out surface treatment and coating of a pipe inner surface by one coating apparatus.

SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for carrying out powder coating of the inner surface of a cast iron pipe supported in a horizontal direction and rotated around an axis includes a lance 3 for jetting a powder coating material from a jet port 33 at the tip over the length direction of the pipe by being inserted into the pipe or being pulled out of the inside of the pipe by relative movement in the axis direction of the pipe; a support part 23 supporting the lance 3 at the base end of the lance 3 outside the pipe; a spatula 38 provided on the base end side from the jet port 33 to abut on the pipe inner surface; and a jack part 28 switching contact/separation of the spatula 38 with/from the inner surface of the cast iron pipe by the up and down movement of the spatula 38 by lifting the lance 3.
