<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic charge development which shows little variation in a charge amount and little variation in reproducibility of minute dots and image density, and can stably provide a high-quality printed material, even when a printing environment changes, and a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the toner for electrostatic charge development comprises: an aggregation step, a particle forming step, and a shape controlling step, which form aggregated particles by aggregating polymer primary particles, which are dispersed in a water medium containing at least an anionic activator, with a colorant dispersed in a water medium containing a compound expressed by general formula (1), and are carried out in this order. In the method, a monovalent salt an amount of which is within the range from 50 mmol to 500 mmol with respect to 100 g of the aggregated particles is added. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
