<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a bushing of a lead storage battery and a bushing mold which can prevent the oozing of an electrolyte solution by improving adhesion between a battery lid by a simple method. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the bushing for the lead storage battery, a plurality of ring-like projections 3A to 3E extending in the peripheral direction are integrally provided on the outer periphery of a cylindrical bushing body 2 holding an electrode, and the ring-like projections 3A to 3E are inserted into a resin-made battery lid. This method includes a first step in which liquid metal is flowed into a mold 11 to integrally cast the bushing body 2 and the plurality of the ring-like projections 3A to 3E, and a second step in which one ring-like projection 3A is plastically deformed toward the other ring-like projection 3B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
