<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virus adsorption polymer substrate aimed at removal of virus in the blood, which has a function selectively removing virus without adsorption or removal of a blood component undesired to remove, and a medical apparatus using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The virus adsorption polymer substrate includes a polymer support, the surface of which is treated by graft polymerization reaction of a polymerizable compound (B) having a functional group reactive with a compound (A) having hydroxy or amino group, or ammonia.
