<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide rail having "one-turn spiral form" to enable free selection of attaching part, having inconspicuous attached state and slidable while keeping the inconspicuous state of the rail, and a method for fixing the slide rail at an arbitrary position. <P>SOLUTION: A disengagement prevention guide groove 2a is attached to a guide groove 2 of a fixed-side rail body 1 to form a "one-turn spiral form" by side view.
