The present invention relates to a machine for sharpening a skate blade, comprising: leg units facing each other below left and right ends of the machine for sharpening a skate blade, so as to fix a skate blade; a transfer unit which is placed on the leg unit, and which consists of two rows of transfer rails and transfer blocks arranged with a guide bar between the two rows; sharpening units equidistantly spaced apart from the transfer unit and opposite each other; said guide bar which contacts the transfer unit and moves the sharpening units along the skate blade; and a tension adjustment unit arranged above the guide bar and the sharpening units. The skate blade sharpening machine of the present invention is easy to carry, and maintains the angle between the bottom surface and side surface of the skate blade at a predetermined level, maintaining a sharp edge of the blade.
