METHOD FOR IMPLEMENTING MAIN DISTRIBUTION FRAME AND MAIN DISTRIBUTION FRAME

A method for implementing a Main Distribution Frame(MDF) and the MDF are disclosed. The method for implementing the MDF includes: splitting a composite signal transmitted by a subscriber line into a narrowband signal and a broadband signal; and performing line switching for the split narrowband signal and broadband signal by a narrowband switching matrix module and a broadband switching matrix module separately. By splitting the composite signal on the subscriber line into the narrowband signal and the broadband signal, and performing the line switching for the narrowband signal and the broadband signal by the narrowband switching matrix module and the broadband switching matrix module separately, the provision of different switching realization means for different signals to perform the switching for the signals is realized.
