<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse detecting equipment which does not stop even at the time of failure of commercial power supply, and is capable of reducing consumption power required for display of an input state of a pulse signal and thereby prolonging the time of driving using a battery. <P>SOLUTION: The pulse detection device 1 detects a pulse signal caused by opening and closing of a dry contact 2a placed in a pulse output equipment 2. The device has two display modes: a normal mode in which an LED 6 is illuminated while a closing signal of the pulse signal is detected and the LED 6 is turned off while an opening signal of the pulse signal is detected; and a power-saving mode in which the LED 6 is illuminated only for a moment when the closing signal of the pulse signal is detected. The device is normally configured so that it is driven by a commercial power supply 7 but is driven by a battery 10 when the commercial power supply 7 breaks down. When a power outage detection part 11 detects a power outage of the commercial power supply 7 while an input state is displayed by the commercial power supply 7 in the normal mode, the mode is set to be automatically switched from the normal mode to the power-saving mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
