PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an overcurrent generation or overheating that would adversely affect a DC motor or a control circuit with a simple configuration and thereby to securely prevent the DC motor or the control circuit from being damaged.
SOLUTION: An action setting signal determination circuit 12 performs logic operation on action setting signals A and B outputted from an action setting signal output circuit 4, whether or not the action setting signals A and B are to set a DC motor 2 in a forward/reverse driven state is determined and, if the action setting signals A and B are to set the DC motor 2 in the forward/reverse driven state, a timer circuit 13 starts a timer. If a reference length of time has elapsed afterwards with the forward/reverse driven state being maintained by some abnormality, the supply of the action setting signals A and B to a control circuit 3 is stopped by an action restricting circuit 14 to place the DC motor 2 in a free running state. When the DC motor 2 is set in a braked state or a free running state, the timer is reset.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
