<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particulate filter capable of enhancing regeneration efficiency, and to provide a regeneration method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: In a wall flow type particulate filter in which cells 11 are formed of a honeycomb-shaped porous body 12 formed in a cross-sectional polygonal shape and whose inflow side and outflow side are clogged, a catalyst 14 is coated on a partition 12f of one surface of the cell 11, and a PM in an exhaust gas is caught by the partition 12t of the other surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
