<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for providing a query using an image. <P>SOLUTION: The method and the system for providing the query according to the present invention can detect a retrieval keyword using an image and position information of a terminal received from the terminal, and provide a retrieval query related to the detected retrieval keyword to the terminal.
