<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device that can obtain a favorable printed matter by setting a writing position to a printing paper and a cutting position of the printing paper to an optimal relationship. <P>SOLUTION: The printing device 100 includes: a printing unit having an ink ribbon unit 420 and a thermal head 227 for printing an image on a roll paper 442 using a sublimation printing process; a cutter unit having a cutter blade 609 for cutting an image printed part of the roll paper 442 from an unused part of the roll paper 442 as a cutting means; and a main controller 201 for controlling a printing start position by the printing unit and a cutting position by the cutter unit so that printing density at the cutting position by the cutter unit becomes a predetermined concentration using the relation between a distance from the printing start position by a previously obtained printing unit and the printing density. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
