<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccine formulation exhibiting an enhanced long-term stability. <P>SOLUTION: This human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccine formulation contains (a) an HPV virus-like particle (VLP) adsorbed onto an aluminum adjuvant, (b) a salt, (c) a buffer for bringing a pH range of a vaccine solution into about 6.0-about 6.5 of pH and (d) a nonionic surfactant. The salt is selected from the group comprising NaCl, KCl, Na<SB POS="POST">2</SB>SO<SB POS="POST">4</SB>, (NH<SB POS="POST">4</SB>)<SB POS="POST">2</SB>SO<SB POS="POST">4</SB>, sodium phosphate and sodium citrate. The nonionic surfactant is selected from the group comprising a polysorbate 20, a polysorbate 80, a polysorbate 20, an NP-40(R), a Triton X-100(R), a Triton X-114(R), a Span 85, a Brij 35(R) and a Brij 58(R). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
