<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic detector for rotation angle with which the accuracy of the detection of a rotation angle of a rotating drum can be enhanced compared with the conventional one. <P>SOLUTION: In a magnetic detector for rotation angle which is arranged to be opposite to a magnetic drum 1 having a magnet 3 with alternated magnetization on its outer surface and includes a magnetic sensor 10 having a plurality of magnetic sensor elements 12-15 arranged with a predetermined pitch on a sensor surface 106, the predetermined pitch is determined based on the distance between a first contact point 108 at which the respective magnetic force lines of a first magnet 3a and a second magnet 3b contact with the sensor surface and a second contact point 111. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
