<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a thermal transfer medium which has an excellent transfer property and excellent antirust effect to the metal plating film in a formed image. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a thermal transfer medium includes:forming a coating film layer by applying a coating which contains a reducible fine polymer particle and a thermoplastic resin on a base material, or forming the coating film layer by applying a coating which contains conductive fine polymer particles and a thermoplastic resin on the base material, and continuously performing dedoping which makes the conductive fine polymer particles reducible (1); forming, on the coating layer, the metal plating film by performing a chemical plating from an electroless plating liquid, or forming the metal plating film by performing the chemical plating from the electroless plating liquid, and in addition, performing electro-plating on the top of it (2); and forming an adhesive layer on the metal plating film (3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
