<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle control device that is capable of detecting malfunction of an AD converter without providing a specific circuit for malfunction detection. <P>SOLUTION: An on-vehicle control device comprises an AD converter converting an input analogue voltage to a digital value, an operation part executing a program that describes a control operation of a vehicle, and a timer measuring time in accordance with an instruction from the operation part. The operation part measures, by using the timer, at least either one of a conversion time required to execute a conversion by the AD converter or a conversion cycle corresponding to a time interval for executing the conversion, and inspect whether or not the AD converter operates normally depending on whether or not the measured value of the conversion time or the conversion cycle is within a predetermined, specified range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
