A method for storing sugar beet roots includes ventilating, cooling, freezing the ambient air with heat insulation and waterproofing of piles, clamps. Forced ventilation is additionally created by axial fans with periodical reversing and circulating air flows, avoiding forming shadow air zones in tuberous roots in bulk. Reversing of the flows is carried out alternatively in two opposite equal pressure channels arranged on the both sides of a pile or a clamp. |
