PURPOSE: A food waste dehydrating screw conveyor is provided to reduce a load applied to the conveyor and to maintain uniform pressure by delaying food waste for a pre-set period of time before the food waste is dropped. CONSTITUTION: Food waste is supplied through an inlet(80) by a conveying screw shaft(20). The food waste is dehydrated in a conveying process. The conveying screw shaft is embedded into a perforated net(50). A plurality of dehydrating holes is arranged in the perforated net. A compressing unit protruded between screw wings is formed at the rear side of the conveying screw shaft. When the conveying food waste passes the position of the compressing unit, a pressure is applied to the food waste. After the food waste passes the position of the compressing unit, the food waste is expanded. The compressing process and the expanding process of the food waste are repeated. |
