<p>The device (1) has an excitation signal generating device (10) designed to access an excitation signal on a concatenated phase pair of a multiphase network (100). A reply signal measurement device (20) measures a reply signal caused by the excitation signal. A phase switching device (30) measures a response signal linked by the concatenated phase pair to switch to another pair. An evaluation device (50) determines the net impedance of unchained phases of the multiphase network based on the reply signals and the excitation signals of concatenated phase pair. An independent claim is also included for a method for measuring net impedance of an electrical supply network.</p>
